Interesting to see Lucy labeling her 18 day suspension as #harsh on twitter. I thought it was probably about right myself. It was a fairly careless bit of riding that could have caused some real grief. What she did certainly enabled her to win the race so hats off for doing what needed to be done to win but you can't go sooking up when you get stung for knocking a couple out the way to win.

Browny doesn't mind calling it how he sees it.... especially regarding the track preparation and issues regarding the track

I'm actually a little surprised that the stewards don't sting jocks and trainers when they bag the rwwa and pr staff. If it were the AFL they'd know to shut their gobs that's for sure

Yeah i see where your coming from , I don't know where this comments born from  , perhaps frustration on the day . Big bad Bob I am sure would give young Will some leeway to sway from structures if the game plans gone awry i would think

Bob's just peed off because the security guy tried to boot him out of the owners bar for not having a pass  :))

Do you think that's a good thing Bobby that they have to shut their gobs and not be able to state their case in a public forum without the threat of fines/punishment etc?.

Surely individuals are able to proffer their own opinion without fear of reprise if it's done in a respectful manner.

I think browny goes a little too far sometimes. Tweeting about it isnt going to fix whatever number of problems he likes to talk about. I rate his as a jockey tho.

I have no problem with them being able to speak out at all. I was actually stating that i was surprised that the stewards did nothing about it

Gee Bob would really give a toss what that midget Brown says.
Brown still dirty because Bob told Jimmy Taylor years ago he didn't want him on any of his horses and you can't blame him he is another very average jockey in a big pool over here suggest he rides a few more winners and leaves the social media alone

Has to be the weakest jock with the stick I've ever seen he could hit a newborn baby over the ass and it wouldn't make a sound

The only reason Brown is riding for Morton is because Pikey is committed to Peters if he wasn't Brown would ride even less than the small number he has already ridden he should be kissing Bobs ass not bagging him

Why doesn't Jarrod Noske get the rides? I'd put Jarrod on long before I'd have Brown

Cmon Dungy admit you are anti Browny because he's a good Collingwood supporter. I reckon he rides a few shockers but I've seen him ride some gems too. He's stood the test of time.

Like Jarrod Noske as a rider a lot. Gees his old man was a gun jockey. Career cut short by injuries. Great to see his kids doing so well. They are a chip off the old block.

Gun - outstanding ; top shelf. He was a gutsy hoop. Bad luck with a fall after the finishing line badly shattering an ankle. Never seemed to be able to get it quite right but afterwards still rode more winners.

Don't think it was after the finishing line, from memory it was galloping flying pharaoh on the way to the barrier and yes Noske was going to be a top jockey before that shocking injury.

100% sure it was a fall after the finishing line. Flying Pharoah trained by Frank Maynard Snr was the horse. Brendan Leuinig was the other jockey to come down.

Very kind of Lucy to take a break and give some male counterparts a chance to earn some prize money
