1) Quindaya (20s ew)
2) Usherette
3) Love Trade (7s ew)
4) Fly Away Peter & Another Remark
5) Happy Reveller
6) Bells Tower ($2.30 - Best)
7) Coruscation
8) Starry Dane ($2.60 - Double)

    I'm with Oliver's Twist. I too like Usherette in the 2nd race. 30-1 seems silly odds.

    Harvey was very keen to get back to the fence there on the fav. Thinking Bell's Tower in race 6 becomes even more of a special with the inability to make ground and value of being on or near the rails

    It's very soft mouthed and the faster pace races suit it better at the moment. It over races too much for 1400m at this stage.

    New Attire…15s into 4.6. Is that purely because its drawn barrier 1 and will be in the right part of the track or can someone make a case for it??

    Ran out of galloping room, that's why he protested. With a clear run may have gone close. I took $35/$8.50 fixed and it would have been lovely had it won. The place was good though.

    no mention of Black Freda from them though so I don't think they're that smart  :P

    "Had looked handy in two trials leading into this. Was runner-up in a trial at Bunbury over 1000m on April 29" and it had the hottest in-form jockey in B Parnham riding it... clearly they don't watch trials  :P

    its a wonder people dont bet on WA racing any more when you watch that last race at Northam.

    excuse my ignorance but what was wrong with it? jockeys taking off too early or the muddling pace the race was run or pike's ride on the fav?

    filthy I didn't bet today as I reckon I would of had the quaddie.. the only leg I may have missed was Forseen's but anchoring Bell's Tower would have allowed me to go wide

    Haven't been following the races today, but went to watch the replay based on your comment.

    It's wasn't really a window display for our races. The pace up to half distance was pedestrian and comical.

    I'm sure nothing will be mentioned other than on here, but I can't see any reason to excuse what happened.

    By mistake the other night at work, whilst on a break, I saw a race live from Tipperary, Ireland. I think it was around 3500M. The pace throughout the entire race was quicker than the first 1000M at Northam just them.

    Sorry mate.  Brilliant tactical ride out front.  Must have just forgotten to put the change of tactic form into the stewards to go forward today!

     I already threw out a tip in this thread, Usherette. I also threw out another less obvious one.

    @hash after seeing Black Freda win, I thought Alice Show would win whatever they put her in.
     Have a look:

     Anyway, it's a real shame she bled 2nd time as she had a lot of ability.
