Race 1..leader , leaders back , three back the pegs.Never not going to be any other result than that after 100 metres.

How/why did Kyle Harper not get onto Typhoon Tans back at the 600m mark??? Hopeless drive.

Many seemed disinterested to chase the leader $11 to $2.

Could be a night of pre arranged leaders after Out Back Joe could not wait to surrender.

My love affair with Copgrin is getting very expensive, on that run though I have to go again next time round.

You wouldn't credit the 4 faves in the standing start Marathon would run 1,2,3,4. Looked the most difficult race of the night. Quartet over $600.

Bettors Fire was an eye catching first up run. Hopefully he is over the issues he has had of late as is a very nice horse at his best.

Enormous run..class horse $2.90 a place on tote was very good. Big campaign ahead. The best is to come with Bettors Fire.

My punting at the moment is taking a battering, had a good go Khun Ratha.

Am going to take a few weeks off and refresh but going out on absolute good thing. Watched the mens coxless fours last night, really thought the South Africans were foxing, 50/1 for the gold. Hopefully my $5 doesn't capsize them.

First race of the night...20/1 chances ran 2nd and 3rd...the trifecta paid a terrible $25!!! However it was the 2-1-10 combo. Then again Richie Bell couldn't find a place for 1 or 10 in his top 4 so really $25 was poor.

Everyone in WA knows that Right Hand is a caterpillar early except Michael Grantham who elected to stay on his back and get carted out of the race,

Another good job from carve up Kim on ricimer. He must be on a good commission from the stable.

Bettors Fire raced very fresh ...test will be second up but he seems to have fired up pretty nicely. No fan of Waylade in recent times but he was held up when it looked like he wanted to spike home.....Cyamach ran ultra honest but don't know what to make of Ricimer...don't think Dreadlock was ever going to hand up and Prentice spent a lot of time looking around ...could have dropped in to the 1x1 but maybe too fired up trying for the lead to restrain ...strange race with a 27 first quarter and then they really slowed up. These races continue to be too much of a throw at the Dart Board.

Are you sure about Waylade JJ ? Thought he was under enormous pressure just before straightening..but admit took my eyes off him after that..and he was between runners but still didn't think he was going that well near the bend..however stand corrected if he went better than I thought.

Can't be totally sure about anything in these races Riders  ...lol...but he reined him up down the back and then had to back off, then Ricimer sort of fell into his lap when he reined him up in the straight and I think he is a momentum type of horse and he had to stop and start a few times and still finished off okay. Noy saying a certainty beat or anything like that...Bettors was the run of the race no doubt...but just an old timers view. I would be giving Bettors a week off and then look for a 2130m race....wouldn't be chucking him into a 2500m next week because it looked like he raced awfully fresh.....he is an imposing horse Bettors who if they can keep him right should collect a bunch of wins into spring and summer.

Pretty frustrating isnt it - i stood Bad Round out for 3rd in 1st 4s - as you say Right Hand is either early in the race a caterpillar or it breaks - how many times has it been excluded from the draw - 5 or 6 times at a guess - its the worse horse in the state to follow out - yet he followed it - from a tactical point of view it was super dumb

Gavin Lang a champion reinsman i read an article - he watches stacks of race videos - hes knows his form - Gavin doesnt train horses anymore so hes got the time to do it - Grantham should do the same
