Early betting suggests that Bert The Bookie will not be handing up today unlike the last time it drew one and could not wait to surrender to the heavily supported Majorlicious.
3 horse race...Bert...Aurelious and The Trilogy. Who Thru Teddy tonight is just $8 pre post and even coming out of barrier 1 if Teddy wins will run 3 laps of Gloucester Park tomorrow morning at 6.a.m. ( just know this is not going to be good ) :-S
Tipped by the commentator in top 4. Only 7 starters. Plus a very weak field.Turvey driving. The stars are beginning to align...but still say can't win!
Back to Bunbury on Saturday night you won't see a better example of sprint lane driving than Stuart McDonald on Master Jaxon. Came from four back the pegs without going around a horse in a 54.9 last half.
Conversely Reon Tither's drive on Macrihainish was a shocker.

May not be the case with $1700 available at $4 on Betfair.
Jocelyn Young showed amazing judgement to get thru the eye of a needle on Gothic Rage earlier...drive of the night. In that race Nota Lada started $3.60 tote favourite...goodness gracious :-?? And from outside of the front line :-j
Not financially invested tonight - but Granthams drive on Rycroft was brilliant
Ideclared him about 6mths ago - hed go right to the top - got the USA style and naturally light
Its a wonder why more ex jockeys - who still by trotting terms are naturally light - dont become pacing drivers
Ted Demmler and Brian Gath were both once apprentice jockeys - who became champion drivers
I can remember Gordon Rothacker ( the guy they have since named the annual medal after ) using both Gath and Demmler - and they said - Gordon why aernt you driving your horses anymore - and he said because Gath and Demmler are 3 stone lighter than me - and that must affect the horses performance
Agree Gilgamesh noticed the grey searching for a run going to the line full of running. Top Notch Mac also had a bit up its sleeve. Once Grantham got the 3 wide cart up - game over. Possibly wouldn't have won without 66/1 chance Icy Grin supplying the cover. That 3 wide cart up at GP is worth its weight in gold. Either that, leading or pegs.
Was a very close call JJ especially with Grantham driving a double. Young was 3 back the pegs with Who Thru Teddy in front...it spelt doom! Lewis lifted The Tornado ($1.80 tote) in race 1...looked in a heap of strife.

Good effort by Grantham to use social media to promote himself and the industry.
