Tough gig winning money on the punt at GP these days

However the tried and true formula of a horse dropping miles in grade - Bronze  Seeker - $6.50 in race 4 - last start raced against the states best B Boaz - tonight a couple of the fancies are average mares

My only concern - is a bit like Island Run in the last at Narrogin the other night - it was well graded - but it is one dimensional - sit sprinter and they walked

Bells mare might lead on its ear - walk - and BS is back last - and mission impossible

However if they run 29-30 sec qts i think Bronze Seeker will win by a cricket pitch - that is 22 yards or for  old timers - 1 Chain

One more for the night for me and it's a bit of a hail mary but working on the theory the race will be run upside down I think Simply Susational can run into it from the back and is worth a play at the odds.

Was very good at Pinjarra...could be run upside down...all depends on Change Stride....I'm going for a sillier one...anchoring Mighty Flying Thomas to run 3rd or 4th....good luck me! ( has no chance ).

No bigger fan of Chris Lewis on this site than me. (Maybe riders) I have to say though after watching his drive on Heez on fire I am politely asking Chris to sit in the corner with the dunce hat firmly placed on his head. What the hell was he thinking going forward from barrier 4 on a sit sprint horse when the 1, 2 & 3 horses all made their intentions clear before the race that they wanted to lead. Going forward early cost him a cosy spot midfield behind a hot tempo. Instead he had to go all the way back to last and have no chance.

Yes I am talking through my burnt pocket ~X(

What you needed Gilgamesh was Change Stride to hold the lead at all costs.Check.
    Liberty in the breeze. Check.
Run One Over to do the Hall early move and attack hard. Check.
Suvaljko wanting to kick up and keep the pressure right on. Check.
Simply Sussational to get into the three wide line with cover. Check.

If you go back and watch his drives on this horse this time in two out of the three have been very poor. Didnt go to the fence when he should have behind liberty belle 3 back then tonight. Hope those two drives dont keep the horse out of the inters but sadly think they will.

Change stride hold the lead early to help out much better performed stablemate....check.

Change stride drops out beaten by a big margin, job done.....check.

Change stride driven beyond his capabilities in order to help stablemate qualify for the inters...check.

Stewards ask any questions of driver.......no. Check

As the saying goes make hay while the sunshines so i'm going to have something very small on glowbright in the hope he gets a lovely 1,1 run although it may be 1,2 as ai have a feeling Our Regal Ideal may have a checky look for the top.

Well done Gilgamesh on picking that last winner. I wouldn't have had Monopoly money on Ryan Warwick but well done to you.
