perth????
of course there is no proof at this stage that anything untoward happened, and I'd suspect that AD wouldn't be silly enough to make the same mistake twice.
Now this is different to horses fiddling with the pace of a race, but treating horses on race day may still be considered a sort of corruption, ...@wilson....any comment??? Or is this okay, even though it is outside of the rules????
"RV chief steward Terry Bailey said stewards were concerned that Durrant had an alkalizing agent and a bucket in his possession when the CAT arrived at Jason Warren’s Mornington stables where Mr Moet’s is staying during his Australian Cup bid.
Bailey said an examination of the tack room revealed that Durrant had a herbal treatment called Yunnan Baiyo, which RV chief veterinarian Dr Brian Stewart described as a chinese medicine."
As with all these things the stewards need to be able to do their job..and trusted to do their job properly and then they will act..it is good to see that the stewards and others on the east coast appear to be on their game..time will tell, but it is not a good position to be in for anyone. I hope it is sorted quickly.

Small fine thats about it i reckon Falc
I see Durrant is claiming he was mixing the substance for treatment post race. Have heard that one somewhere before.
I do agree however that its simply a case of raceday treatment if the substance is not prohibited and the appropriate fine will be handed out. I guess its not cut and dried, which is why they have adjourned it.
