Congratulations Willie White on winning a race on such a big day. A very persistent ride on Global Flirt. How the horse wins on form I don't know and even Ripley wouldn't have believed it but well done WW and I hope it leads to more opportunities for you..

I concur with Slipper, you  don't get many chances on big days, and it is nice to see you get one home.
    All the best.

If I like the horse I never have any problem with backing them when WW is on.

I backed the horse - when people said why - i said because Willie was on and had a point to prove!
Bagging someone 9/10 you end up with egg on your face.
Doesnt get heaps of oppurtunities in good races but made the most of it Saturday.
Nice to see a positive thread for a change. This games not an easy one. Dont need knockers. He is one if the hardest workers at trackwork in the morning and unless you are there at 4am you wouldnt know.
    Well done Will.

Great ride. Didn't lose his head when Dasher did what Dasher does. I can't believe he didn't get pinged for excessive use of the boondi though. He was fair mopping it a long way out....

As much as Kevin Forrester on Saturday ?  $2000 not a deterrent if the $$$ on or race worth a bit http://www.thecourier.com.au/story/2715351/ballarat-cup-2014-forrester-fined-2000-for-whip-use-in-winning-ride/

As the bloke who told me about Forrester said, he was hitting like Robbie Harvey did in the old days - cutting it in half

top jock but a bit...err, wayward.
remember his stint in perth...left suddenly....a horse called Jacks Daniel if I remember correctly....

Don't start taking pot shots at Kev...

People like him and Noel Callow keep the horse honest that's for sure.

Falcon & Shovhog my comment re Forrester was in jest. Do I have to put a smiley face icon beside my future posts to indicate that? What happened to your sense of humour?

While completely unrelated apart from being jockey news, Dan Staeck back at Ascot on Saturday. Hope he can reunite with Durrant and Fred Kersley and ride a few winners soon, my account needs refilling

awesome ride willie , good way to silence the critics in a listed race on a 100/1 , stick with warwick great trainer

The connections of Global Flirt must have made a blue and put Douglas Whyte on instead of Willie White this Saturday. Easy mistake to make.
Tipping @Houdini65 will be dark X(

I'm not sure why he cops such a raw deal. He's not any better or worse then most of the others.

    Pike
    Harvey
    Donga
    Paterson
    Warwick
Azzopardi.... Who will be red hot in years to come.
    Pateman.
    Kennedy
    Brown

With the exception of those I wouldn't put anyone else on full stop. I might miss a name or 2
