I've only just noticed it the past month as we have some coming through. The step ups that you regularly take for 1000, 1200, 1300 or 1400, etc, etc are very hard to find at the moment. You either nominate for 2 weeks in a row followed by a 3 week gap and step up from 1000 to 1400!?!?!? been sending us crazy trying to put a campaign together, and then there is the situation that a few we had tagged in the book and on the CRIS site were changed in distance once nominated?!?!?! Well it was only one race a few weeks back

The race scheduling seems to be a bit messy at the moment. Has it been this way for a while or am I just a cranky old bugger cos I cant get the race distances I want??

What distance would suit you Rio? I reckon you would be super quick over a str8 400...

=)) =)) After recently losing a few kg's it'd still be a very slow 400!!! Unless by straight you meant vertical!!!!! I'd have enough Momentum to do that in track record time.haha

we were looking for 3yr olds an it's probably been the same for ages, but as per usual if it doesn't affect you, you don't notice it.

Your horse and a horse I have a small share in may line up against each other Saturday week after both winning their trials on Monday...but I did look at the programming the other day and thought the same thing if your horse is an out and out 3YO sprinter

both had good hit outs Occy..yours hit the line nicer than ours with that little push, and ours lopped in after doing the soft shoe shuffle 150 out..Would be interesting, but thought you'd aim for the 1200? Good luck to both horses

I remember Northerly ran 2nd in a Farnley with 62 or 63 kg years ago ...any really good horses won it in the past? The quality of this years field by comparison? JTW has a high opinion of Wink and a Nod.

I agree re: Rebel King. Gets a very good swing here and the way Pike is riding id be happy to be on. Interested to see what the market says

Rebel King $4.60 fixed. Wink and a Nod $3 favourite.

@thediva is there a similar meme that says: "Keep calm and just back the Wiz & Lucy"? Those two are DOMINATING the premiership as expected. :-bd

    Nor can I Falc,
10s I would have thought then I might have played.
Nice Horse, Nice weight, Good draw, Handy kid on board.
IMHO I think others have too much against them.

And it would be like throwing a dart

Meant to ask this the other day. Rebelson and rebel king are from the same mare. I'm sure it has happened ( probably a lot ) but anyone else know of any halves running in the same stakes race?
