His other runner Klondike Kenny has been 51 into 13... There's actually been a few runners in the 6th that have been hammered (6,9,10&11) have all had there prices slashed

R1 Midnight Drama could sneak into the placings
R4 Niccolodeon could be a marked improver
R5 Losing Ticket should go well up in trip
R8 Taken High with Ayana for quinella
    R9 Blustery. Forget last start.

Great perseverance shown by Willy Pike there - looks like the blinkers played there part as well.

Ultimate gear change here for Destined for Fame, had excuses at only race start albeit behind a horse that couldn't win at Albany yesterday but might be worth a few bucks.

Proving to be a decent broodmare Magical Belle.

Another one of her progeny placed 1st up recently.

Blinkers were on for the 1st time today.

This must be a first slip, threw out your tips and not even one placing... You have me to blame mate, I followed them all in blindly and didn't get close to a collect :((

Thank the lord for old mate's tip at the top of this thread =D>

So you are to blame Hash. I would follow the first two. Drama was trapped wide throughout and Niccolodeon had a chequered passage in the straight. Blustery trapped wide also but ordinary anyway.

Slip you must have been on sunset superman, you have shares in the bugger

I was on discoriffic at 20s pity it bumped into a potential star. That was impressive

Impressive in that field yep, but have to disagree with you re potential superstar Bomber. When the 40-1 pop maiden runs 57.98 its puts its run in context for mine

    3yo staying races.
What are the pathways, and hence incentives to want to buy/breed anything with staying bloodlines.
The Calender would suggest their non-existent.

the 40-1 pop maiden that has had 4 starts for1 win and 1 second now from four starts nevershow.
Who is to say he might not be a future star himself

    choc...WA racing is controlled by breeders....of 2yos.

have a look at vic and nsw always a middle distant race..maybe 2 on their card.

all the winter staying Cup races at Belmont have been scrapped, the edgar meeres, Belmont cup and the winter cup...why??

cos the breeders want an extra sprint...1200 to 1400m on the card, that's why...

  • chocchoc    789 posts
    That's entirely my point.
What do the potential 3yo stayers do/go, particularly in a Season where Peters doesn't seem to be abundantly overendowed with them?
