Deni Roberts, what were you thinking on El Sunami. Coming off the back of the $1,20 favourite and missing the place

    Don't profess to be a driver .

However the drive on El Sunami - sitting behind the $1.18 certainty.. with the breeze horse about to drop off ...I mean it's not rocket science to work out that the pegs is the place to stay.

The other horse who would have ran second ( thanks to the El Sunami move ) if went three back the pegs from the start Hylee Exciting decided to stay in the one out line - astounding.

Now for the drive of the race Peter Tilbrook on Walkabout Creek from the seven gate - wanted three back pegs - he got it - and thanks to the El Sunami drive - ran a terrific second :-c

Nice tip Out Back Joe - outstanding run - 2nd beaten 1.4 metres - came home 28.1 and 28 wide on the track- pity the favE wasnt just softened up a tad and you would have got the money

Think punters must have had enough of Keeper Of Keys been now unplaced three runs in a row when highly fancied. Two starts ago in a very weak field at Northam was a well beaten favourite. Tonight at Headquarters runs favourite again :-?? But did draw the bullet meaning - u.n.d.e.r.s.

Infinite Symbol hot fave from the one - would say she was gone after about 1.5 metres. Came out from the mobile like a horse already beaten.

Great drive in the last Aiden De Campo...ever since saw him win on Ideal Tyson at Pinjarra several months ago with a heady drive has got better and better. Driven big race winners too.

Can anyone explain why Richie called Infinite Symbol "he" in the 2 y/o FILLIES Gold Bracelet? Did it on the radio preview and was corrected by Trent Cooper. Pay attention man ffs....its a regular stuff up.

Was one of not many trackside last night...understandable, very, very cold but good racing. If you haven't had a chance to see Chicago Bull in the flesh, rug up and "do yourself a favour....BB was keen to run...and did.....and 9 times out of 10 he wins...But Chicago Bull came from last and won by 3 with the plugs in....in 1.52.6. Outstanding and a pleasure to watch..Shane Young wins his 3rd Gold Bracelet, 30 years after his 2nd one and 32 years after his first...and they didn't forget to have a shilling on. no doubt an article in the presses for Monday's West. Americanbootscoota has found 2 more legs the last month and 2 absolute peach drives from SJS on The Revolution....haven't seen a grey horse win for a while....and Aiden DeCampo on Miley's Desire.....both absolutely spot on. And Handandwheels little brother gets a piece of the cake.....and just to finish off the litlle sojourn to the city, went to trackwork at Jandakot this morning ....a brisk 3 degrees at 7.00am. Positively tropical compared to Manjimup this last week.
And Riders, Infinite Symbol broken gear.right at the start.

That was simply an astonishing performance by Chicago Bull last night JJ for such a tiny little pony he has a serious motor under the bonnet.

Think that Donegal Rundlescreek who won the first race was impressive. May string a few together. Not easy sitting in the breeze and went straight past the favourite.

The most fascinating race though has to be why no driver wanted to be three back the pegs behind the certainty The Publisher...even El Sunami wanted to get off from behind him - remarkable.

Was left to Peter Tilbrook from gate seven to say if you guys don't want to be there I'll take it. End result Walkabout Creek runs second. When you can't possibly win - hit the pegs and stay there - Tilbrook style.

Another good run in the first race was 33/1 stablemate She's Artful...three wide over a lap and boxed on well for fourth.

Also keep this one quiet punters...in race 2...horse 11...Hy Leexciting....in the right company from a good draw...a win is very close. Keep eyes and ears open! But keep it hush hush :-$
