Cant Understand
West Australian Racing
Have sat back and watched most of the Sky World Racing
Great coverage but I must say cannot understand the dress standard of some of the traIners and onwers,
Michael Grant looks as he just come straight from night club. No ties or suits is it there no dressed code in WA
Did see couple well dressed Harrison and Harvey how hard on a big race day to present your self well attired
Just

The members floor insist on tucked in shirts yet trainers and some owners can look like bloody gypsies. I dunno this whole PR thing has me mystified....
West Aussies don't like change, and that's including fashion.
I was at the spring carnival. I must of been the only male not to wear a suit. I didn't wear a suit as my neck had got too fat, so i was unable to wear a tie.
I was at Ascot yesterday, id say about 1/4 of the men wore shorts and thongs. Don't blame the weather, as i've been to last years Derby and the previous Caulfield Cup, and they still wore suits.
West Australian's = Bogans.
The stewards should insist at least slacks and a collared shirt from trainers.
I think it was the owner of Black Felix who had a polo on leading the horse back, not tucked in. Should not have been allowed in the yard!!!!
On a wet wed. at belmont i was refused entrance to yard cos I had a pair of jeans on..must admit I thought i'd get away with it. I didn't!!!!
whats with this state of ours thing kerrin....thought you were exported and a victorian now?
Melbourne 35F
Perth 35C !!!
You can't compare a midweek Sandown meeting to the Winterbottom meeting.
When most of the girls walked past me at Ascot, i felt like giving them $20. The guys think tough stickers and looking like a gangster is the way to dress for our summer carnival. You can't buy class at a supermarket. Oh, that's right. We can't do that on a Sunday.
Couldnt say that at the last 15 Melbourne Cups, Victoria Derby days. Lootta 'class' on exhibition on those days and they wear suits.
What a load of cr@p.
Would you let them keep the change :?:
Tivers where have you been looking, surely not the mounting yard
Sea of suits to my eye.
Might be time for some (me) to become "one of them" and start kicking up if I do see any as such, because I've certainly never been allowed in with so much as an untucked shirt.
