Swan River Stud has 2 x2yr.old fillies. Both from well bred mares[Canny Lad mare and Marooned mare].Any other info you'll need to contact SRS on0407986365.

Danehill's can tend to be big gross types. They are often wide chested, and not so long in the leg[rather like coffee tables].Blackfriars is one that seems to be able to give them some scope but general rule of thumb,if you have a chunky, strong type o…

No offence to your mare,I have no idea what her form is etc.but if anyone really likes him put a mare to him that isn't "a throw away mare"they won't all end up being Mr Moet.I know it's a numbers game but if Black Tom is going to survive as a stall…

Taking PC to the point of being totally rediculous.Where will it end..
-
$25k plus 4 lifetime noms, per each investor.[just throwing it out there to start it off].
-
I take it you would be looking for a large syndicate.More than money you obviously need mare numbers and there may not be a lot of small breeders who want to put all their broodmare eggs in one basket. Is the principle stallion owner prepared to put…

I really think W.A. is a harder market than the East.W.A.is very insular.Wont explain anymore or will sound mean spirited and Iknow some the breeders here do it tough.Good luck to Rangeview for bringing their new sire[seems ideal for our tracks].
-
Nice win for Mr Moet.. :D
-
When putting any of my mares in foal,I have looked for the 5 most commercial sires in W.A. and then I check out the pedigree matches.Unfortunately it's scratching at 5.Putting my neck out at the moment does anyone really think there is a commercial …

You might be thinking of 1/2 Hennessey who unfortunetly died this year[or last]at an early stage in his career.
-
You may think HH's stats are a bit low but this stallion looks great for our tracks. No they probably don't do as well on Eastern states going so bonus for us.U.S. and Argentenian stallions are ideal for W.A. Well done Rangeview and best of luck. This…

I haven't looked at the catalogue but I will now.Nice to have a breeder aboard. The breeding side of the forum is always a bit empty..so welcome.

There was no other Mosayter in the field. The only other Mosayter to run this week was Mossroy at Belmont[2nd].Mosayter is certainly holding up his end of the bargain with mares of lesser progeny strike rates but Cottage Rose obviously goes well with…

Beautifully said by Moody quoting that champions put enough pressure on themselves and he wouldn't be letting BC win by huge lengths...she has nothing to prove...true horseman.
-
I really hope that BC isn't ridden like Frankel was to the line.Would of been better to see him win by 6 lengths easy than like he was.Lets hope Moody has more respect for his horse[which I'm sure he has].
-
RIP..Christine,the breeders ranks are all the more poorer with your passing..
-
I put a mare to Vital Equine that I know can get a 2/3yr.old because he has overseas 2yr.olds so it is disappointing he hasn't got results just yet but I will still give him the benefit of the doubt at this stage.
-
:D Yes but what a great win..between Travinator and Barakey W.A's sprinters are looking mighty fine!
-
O.k. so if you had the choice of 5 stallions anywhere in Australia..who would you go to?No cost taken into account.
-
Great to have a local hero.At this stage I'd rather just sit back and enjoy this horse for who he is.
-
What great footage of an incredible show of a very cool headed horsewoman.
-
WA always complained that we don't have a staying sire.We did.The progeny were reputed to be difficult as youngsters mainly because they weren't meant to be 2yr/3yr.olds.They were mostly stayers...their immature brains didn't cope with pushed and as…
-
Oh yes and they have to be out by 9 the next morning so make arrangements for your mare to have water and hay or feed overnight...unless of course she leaves that night.
-
The transport people..Granthams and Ramsays will be there on the day with their booking tables set up near the entrance to the selling dias. You do need to have somewhere to send them though so check out suitable agistment venues.
-
A reply for Burnt Caviar...Mosayter is still owned by West Aussies and can return here if they wish.He also has young stock here that are for sale and selling.Mares from W.A. went over to him last year.He is still very much a West Aussie sire.
-
I was given the advice from ES vet to not move mare until at least 30 days in foal but then you might as well wait the 45 days in case of re-service.Foals about 2mnths of age ,as they can still nurse in transit.Would rather not transport weanlings t…

Unfortunately Damien is right ,the stallion has very small numbers and racing progeny is a numbers game.I doubt he has had a majority of mares that would lift his strike rate of winners[no disrespect to mare owners]but you do need mares that can ho…

My 2 fillies,1 out of a Cape Cross mare, [very elegant, scopy filly],she's very correct and has a delightful temperament.October filly, halter and lead broken, pick feet up.The other filly is the pedigree x of last tycoon and sadlers wells, stockier but…

Was it the same sire? and has she been checked for cystic ovaries etc.

This morning's paper puts a different spin on things....looks like Albert is coming and they are ramping up Ortensia so at least they are still trying to hold everyone's interest.Very hard for them.Speaking of hard ...quoting the west..supposedly BC…
