According to stud book stats...Saxon in 2011 had over130 mares and the next 2yrs years declined alarmingly. His fertility has been inconsistent.
-
Helsinge foaled a filly of "Royal Blood"...1/2 sister to Black Caviar and full sister to All Too Hard...bet foal watch were sweating.

Frost Giant seems to have better stats than anything else in W.A. and I don't have a personal interest in him.Just facts..
-
Sending two to Frost Giant(pedigree ratings A++)and one toVital Equine(A+).I believe he'll do the job,got a lot of time for his progeny.Have a very athletic yearling filly by him, with a really good temperament.

Lyndall Watson from Dupre's breaking wanted to do yearling prep this year but was a little late in advertising the fact. She might want to 2014 yearlings and they always present their breakers well, she has a show background and you could pretty well…

I think she would be beautifully suited to Fastnet Rock.

Good grief, you guys talk like we have Eastern States tracks.W.A. has hard tracks. The best type of horse for W.A. would probably be by an Argentenian or USA sire.HH doesn't only have dirt trackers and lets face it sometimes Ascot is as harder th…

Best of luck to them may there be many more.
-
I would guess that he should be the sale topper if he follows through on conformation...anyone looked?
-
Yes it is and while most of those countries can get hot,I don't believe they get as hot as us.I believe it is a diutretic as Bruebaker says but ultimately in our Ascot season that affect would ultimately lead to severe dehydration and heart failure.

Mr Moet definetly showing class.Well done to all concerned.Won't that set his weight too high for thePC.Heard rumours he will be set for 2013 [maybe East?]. Durrant is astute enough to read his horses and will take it race by race but won't the hand…

Don't you have to have a certain amount of horses before you can train in partnership. So the trainer wouldn't have to share what he has because he can do 2ce as many and 1/2 it.Might be a little more fair on the "stable foreman" who often man the ra…

Mr Moet and Rosie

True about some of the Stormcat stallions but his Grand dam Height of Fashion is a blue hen and has bred 6 stallions so he's not really just relying on Stormcat and now he's produced a group 1 horse that can go a distance and a very fast sprinter …

Mr Moet...by Mosayter..Group 1 winner....nothing more to say really.
-
Once again the local product will most likely get a second place viewing. It's been said every year Eastern states horses ,some with not particularly good conformation etc get top ratings.Would be nice if Gold Front and the like would perhaps use 3/4…
-
Yes,I hope they keep doing well. They put the money in.
-
Mosayter stood at Waterford Stud but the syndicate who owned him didn't have enough mares between them to give him a really good leg-up[pardon the pun] and they had no support from any of the other studs[I believe called the "purple circle"]WA breed…
-
Yes and you were very lucky at the time there was a stallion that bred all that and a pedigree to die for that WA people didn't give a chance so was at a low stud fee.....mmm will probably happen again[not].Anymore Kenmare mares around?
-
Really forward to those shots Damien.
-
It's a bad time of the year for horses that might be affected by lung problems as the pollen burden in the air is at a large %.There is no real evidence that I know of[google it]that bleeders pass on to progeny as the stats say that most thoroughbre…

Looking up studbook results on mares and noticed is quite a job Barakey's dam has done...interestingly enough his full sister[Infestio]won a few times over 2000m.As I'm sure most people, would love to see how far he can go.
-
Sorry Godd you must have called in sick today....not only did Travinator win ...he p####ed it in.
-
Well done to Henny Hughes and more winners will be coming your way.His progeny will do very well on our tracks.Good on you Jodie and Robbie.
-
That's what you should call your photo business"Over The Fence"photography.Without getting gushy, you are one of the best racing photographers around and I do see a lot of racing mags worldwide.

Nice trial for power Princess.
-
Very sad for W.A. breeding..condolances for all concerned.
-
I remember going to a stallion parade at Heytesbury a few years ago and Carry A Smile came out looking like the royal that he was, walking with dignity and purpose, posing for the crowd.
-
At least he had a go.Had greedy bad advisers.
-
Going to be a tough year for breeding but he is a well performed horse with a great tenperament...
