    At Happy Valley last night, Douglas Whyte clawed back further ground off the suspended Zac Purton by riding a double. Brett Prebble, Karis Teetan, Nash Rawiller & Vincent Ho rode a winner each

    At Sha Tin yesterday, Douglas Whyte and Vincent Ho rode doubles. Olivier Doleuze, Brett Prebble, Nash Rawiller & PTT favourite, Damian Lane got a winner each

    Nash Rawiller copped a three-day suspension yesterday, just as he was making serious inroads into the premiership standings.

    At Happy Valley last night Joao Moreira finally cracked the tonne by riding a winning double as did Vincent Ho, who is riding in good form lately. Kais Teetan & Douglas Whyte also managed a win each.

    At Sha Tin yesterday, Keith Yeung rode a double, while the more familiar names of Bowman, Berry, Whyte, Moreira, Callan(Blazing Speed, QEII Cup) & Teetan all managed single victories. Nash's win sees him move into the top ten in the premiership

    @lincolnism Are they still looking at the UK for him? Might have paid dividends to have a 'quiet' rider like Moreira riding him if it is on the cards.

    Neil Callan rides a treble at Sha Tin today yet is overshadowed by the Magic Man's haul of five winners. Prebble & Purton bag a winner each. Moreira is now within six wins of Douglas Whyte's record for wins in a season.

    With Zac Purton not riding due to kidney stones, Joao Moreira extended his lead in the premiership at Happy Valley last night, courtesy of a double. Douglas Whyte & Keith Yeung also collected two wins apiece. Brett Prebble added another win to his tally, too.

    Looks like Moreira is intent on breaking Douglas Whyte's record of 114 wins in a season TONIGHT. He has drawn level after riding the winner in three of the first four races.

    I just feel he is a little too young and "green" to cope with the pressure in HK.
    I understand that there are no racing managers allowed in HK so its up to the jock to sell himself. they must be articulate, have great self confidence and understand the complex "nous" of socializing, the expected manners of dealing with the Chinese...which is complicated in itself.
    the lad is a competent rider, just a bit wet around the ears for his current situation.
    I see Kramer says he has had 2 winners...how many rides?

    what do margins of TO and ML signify??
    they are obviously horses getting beaten a long way, but what exactly do they stand for and what's the difference?

    a strong believer that you learn more by failing than succeeding. At 23 yrs of age he will learn more in a tough 3-6 months over there than in a winter of riding in Victoria

    @carey I assume TO =Tailed Off. Not sure about "ML" haven't seen that one before...it could be mean 'Mildly Lame'....I realise it's not a margin, but we are talking about unclassified distances anyhow. May pay to check the race report on the website to confirm.
