    Model turns referee

    Meet Claudia Romani, the Italian
glamour model who is trading in her heels for football boots to follow
her dream of becoming a professional referee.

    Only in Italy…

The 32-year-old has passed the exam required to officiate in the top
tiers of Italian football in her bid to become the first female to take
charge of a Serie A game.

“Running around on the pitch with all those players and calling the shots is just an irresistible opportunity,” she said.

Thursday’s Paper Talk reported on Katarina Sreckovic
    - the Serbian TV presenter whose good looks were distracting players –
and we can only imagine how the Serie A stars might react to Ms Romani
    out in the middle.

Claudia Romani hopes to become the first female Serie A referee.

Claudia Romani now has the qualifications to take charge of professional match.

Which at the moment would be more regular than a decent Man City performance.

Yeah and a quite a few on the pitch Forz.

Now Man City.... they should be renamed Aguero City as he is the only contributor and they should substitute goalkeeper Hart for Caballero. Hart was very fortunate with that double kick that resulted in the non goal. I predicted Hart would become England's keeper when he was on loan to Birmingham City but sadly since he fell in love with himself and plus got the new girlfriend he has been a shadow of the Goalkeeper I once observed.

As it stands both Manchester managers should get the boot because they have allowed overpaid players to just turn up with apathetic attitudes. I don't just blame the managers because those said players should also be banished. Too much money to just show up. Ronaldo gets a fortune but has it impacted his attitude and desire?

I'm certain many clubs would love to have the financial power to build the class of squads United and City are able to do and as it stands would probably have been more competitive with that depth of talent. Thank you Manchester clubs for making this season a non event before December.

Should be a good game this week, Italy v Croatia at the San Siro in Euro2014 qualifier.

Might have to get up early to see Italy give them a lesson.

Italy always struggle against Croatia thought Forzajue would realise that by now even when they beat us in the World Cup they where lucky
  • forzajuveforzajuve    369 posts
Italy were about to sort Croatia out when the Croatia fans threw the flares & stopped the game taking away Italy's momentum.

Thank f%^*& ESPN went back to the game as they had some filler on as I was thought Italy would come out on top but it was not to be.

Ouch ! Wouldn't think too many nations could finish third at there first ever attempt in a World Cup and arguably should have won it that year except for a Boban brain fade

Italy won the world cup at their 1st attempt :))

What was the Boban brain fade as I don't remember it?

I remember Thuram scored 2 for France & think they are his only international goals.
