Guest Wing a Perth Cup winner $91 in a 1200 metre race at Albany. If horses could talk he would have a few interesting things to say. Travelled to Tasmania and Melbourne after winning the Cup too.

Guest Wing started at $114 on the tote and was an excellent run! Checked when making ground fast @ about the 200. Absolutely no doubt can pick up a race over a further distance on that run. Would have finished close up steaming home if not for being cut out of it in the straight.

Only had 12 starts for new connections
For 3 wins, (Bunbury, York and now Albany) I would be happy if I had bought it as it would have had to have been dirt cheap

I had 16% from $30. Throw that one in like I was going to first time looking at it, $30 into about 14% of 6700. :'(

I had a winner at York last week and am still over the moon, a win is still a win doesn't matter where it may be

Guys my point was the quality of horses, the depth and difficulty finding the winners hence playing the quaddie and going wide can pay handsomely at times... Sorry for the misunderstanding and im like you both, as a part owner of small shares I also would be stoked with my horses winning in the bush anywhere anytime as a win is a win

hash old mate we are not all like you or bob peters and can afford expensive yearlings . The quality of horses in Albany is the best outside the metro area in WA.> Tiger Pete 3rd yesterday Dream Lifter winner 2 starts back and I can assure you over the next 2 months there will be more winners in town come from the great southern. Also unlike you I find it difficult to find a winner anywhere.

Congratulations Rio. I didn't know you were still involved in that one.... Thought you had jumped off.

Why did you tip the 13 in the same race?

Come on Slip that's the oldest trick in the book! Rio wasn't born yesterday. Something about keeping your cards close to your chest I think it goes.

Thanks Slip. I really liked Peggie Maries win and her form yesterday made me have a closer look at the 13. I thought from the barrier she would hold the lead for a long way and maybe get to the line...

Ours hasn't performed early and wasn't fully ready. So we were sort of using it as a trial, knowing that he was a run or two short of being ready. Got a good carry along and Forder rated him beautifully to make the most of the bit of fitness that he did have.
