GWS will be finishing ahead of WC, Adeliade and possibly Dogs

    Wager Tivs ?

I'd take that bet off tivers aswell dungy! but in saying that they have a 50/50 run home, 5 winnable games out of 8 after the bye in July... their next 4 games coming will be a huge test for them to see where they're really at and if a top 4 side, they've got the bulldogs, Sydney, geelong and Adelaide cant see them winning any of those (maybe against the doggies) but if they manage to that could set them up to finish above west coast etc.

    @Blacks A Fake

so are you saying GWS will beat Sydney geelong and Adelaide???

  • BlacksAFakeBlacksAFake    2,380 posts
They beat Geelong already and belted Hawks.
Should take care of bullies easy, the games not at Etihad, wouldn't be surprised if they opened them up.
Cats and Crows away not as easy, but they're a chance, same with Swans.
They are a damn good side Giants, underestimate them at your own peril.

hence why it was said the bulldogs are the one team they can beat...

they beat geelong at a neutral ground (well that's my excuse) and as for the hawks victory... well I don't have an excuse for that  :P

would you like a wager of some sort that they wont beat more than 1 of the above teams mentioned...... name your price sir as I'm open to discuss options

    :-h

What price you giving sir? :>

GWS seriously talented side reckon they will win at least two of those they are so even with at least a dozen gun players good style to watch as well laughable that they didnt take the Macarthy deal he wouldnt be getting a game.
Dockers and Tigers should be some clash Tiges will be favourites now with their Subiaco record.

I have no idea about framing a market but the odds would have to be in my favour?  and considering GWS are $1.50 to beat the bulldogs you pretty much have the leg won so you only need to win 1 of the next 3 to collect....
  • goosegoose    1,638 posts
They should beat Swans they usually play them well anyway and Crows look shaky against the quality sides.

GWS are brimming with talent, there's no doubting that but Its a very long season and like we've seen in past, young teams tend to get tired come round 23. They look good kicking 23 goals on a fast dry track at the start of the season but Its a different ball game against seasoned bodies on a cold wet winters night.

Big chance next week to get one on the road...If they cant get these ones they will really struggle to get the 5 or 6 they need to be contesting for the top 4......and 5-8 are just making money for the AFL in the finals

You will eat Port mate but you really need to beat sides around you on the road ,a wins a win and  trust me i dont no what that feels like lol lol lol your wins so far this season ,,,Bris,Freo,Rich,Coll,STK its an understatement to say if your top 4 material you need bigger scalps but you can only beat whats put in front of you

Our road results are a media beat up. How many teams beat Hawks at MCG, Swans at SCG and Cats at Skilled?

Sure the manner we lost all three is disappointing and we are not playing as good a football as last year but we now have the 3rd easiest run home and time to improve.

But the top 6 looks a lot stronger than last year, and its hard to see which teams we can overtake to get in the 6 let alone the 4. Still not sold on GWS over the entire year, don't think they will finish top 4 but haven't looked at their fixture.

Port have the wood on us in previous years though... i'll never forget the game I was at in 2013 for Anzac weekend, we were up by 40 odd at halftime and Port just kept clawing there way back all game and ended up nailing right before the siren to win by 5.. never felt so embarrassed at a game after being the only eagles supporter in the block and going the early crow   8-} :((

North are "just" going at the moment too. HIggins will hurt and a couple more injuries, we are lacking in depth that some of the other sides have. Its a handy head start though.
carlton, sydney, richmond, geelong, hawthorn and adelaide all to come in the next few weeks.
the carlton game will be better than everyone may think and richmond can beat any team on any given day.
