    Shiedel is running in the G1 UBET Stakes (Robert Sangster Stakes) at Morphetville today, race is worth $1 million. The Magic Man will be riding Shiedel in this race.

    Flemington : Ben Thompson has a full book all mounts have some chance imo Under The Louvre maybe an exception.$2.7 in the challenge thanks im on that de ja vu this week i hope.
    Can win the first with Haradafull and chip away all day, De Little Engine at 2800 looks a moral in r3..

    Really like 12 A Mist Opportunity in the next at Flemo was $23/5.75 yesterday well backed into $12 now.If she runs up to her group 2 5th two runs ago she can win this!

    Mick Price gave us a massive lead on Friday morning on the "hour of power" racing radio.
    Said Beau Mertens elected to stay in Melbourne to concentrate on the premiership instead of going to Adelaide to ride his horse Bassett.
    Mertens rode a treble and a second.
    Doh !!! Needless to say I didn't follow the lead. :((

    What do we like in the Doomben 10000?
    Slow 7 track atm... if it stays like that or improves to a 6 i like Music Magnate to go back to back, be great to see Lloydie punch home a G1 winner too.Japonisme has another win in him surely? might surprise at a $20 price..

    R3 my best Jumbo Prince looks mighty hard to beat.

    R5 Mortons Fork first up,nicely down in grade and the SW conditions suit.

    Last but not least R6 Feltre can figure, he was wide the trip 2nd up should get a better run in transit here.Loves slow going and $12+ is a nice ew price..

    Like both Bens runners at good e/w odds and J Lloyd to steer both.
    Race 2 - Kuznetsova
    Race 3 - Cantbuybetter

    I'm going The Monstar @ $126 to cause a boilover. 12 starts on soft going for 7 wins and a couple of placings. :-c

    Scone :
    r6 Snoopy first up should go close
    r8 Deploy resuming too, looks a good quin/exacta horse with the fav Nieta.

    Caulfield :
    r6 Overberg should be ready for 2000m today should get a better run drawn 5.

    Zebrinz for Benny Thompson can win today, he has a few good rides at Caulfield but has drawn sticky gates on most.

    So..hopefully either a good to very good day.. if they place at least i can make a profit betting a 30/70 stake can work quite well.

    Apprentice Baylee Nothdurft had a night out at Toowoomba, from six rides he had 4 winners and two placings..wish i had of kept backing him after r3 (which he rode a treat)
    SKIDS may know a bit more about him??but looks like he only jumped on a horse for the first time once he had completed yr 12 studies in 2015 and had his first race ride in August last yr.
    Looks to steer them ok, has ridden 31 winners from only180 odd rides..ill be watching him more closely for sure!

    BLACK HEART BART and VEGA MAGIC running in the Goodwood whilst Perth Cup winner STAR EXHIBIT is running in the Doomben Cup. Lets hope they all run well and do WA proud.

    The Currie stable has just the one runner today.

    Crusher, a very nice 2yo Snitzel filly that will be very hard to beat over the 900m, from gate 3 and with Lloydy on board. (race 4 Gold Coast)
    I also like Luke Dittmans ride, Fortune Star in this race, along with the #1 at 40/1.
