Hugh Bowman is on fire at the farm :-B

Heavy track @Doomben..spoils meetings/some of the fields eg 9 scratchings in the 1st race...like Gully Command there.

May stick with Flemington i think,
Ben T in the JC @ $2.6 has scored some of the suspended Merten's rides.Should ride at least two maybe three winners.

R5)Mr Individual well drawn and weighted.
R8)Haradafull 2000 suits, Hursley in my quinella with Master Zephyr..im knocking Second Bullet.

How uncomfortable did Malibu Style look in transit. Maybe just my eyes.

Star Exhibit - 2nd in Doomben Cup. Malibu Style and Tick Tick Bloom were disappointing. Lets hope the three WA horses in the Goodwood can run well.

Absolute rout at Flemington with winners and placegetters at big to massive odds in most races :-q

Yep i'll be cheering on BHB but Secret Agenda hard to beat if she replicates her last run.

Too good Vega, BHB looked anchored a bit and maybe has lost a bit of his zip for 1200m.

Four winners at Morphettville for Craig Williams. He was scary good in the last two races.

I think I agree with you there. Hayes and Weir improve them by 3 + lengths, the proof is in the pudding

Very rarely do WA bred horses or WA trained horses do well in the east with a WA trainer.

Northerly, Old Comrade, Scenic Blast, Delicacy and Scenic Shot come to mind as horses doing well in the east whilst being trained by WA trainers..

    But:

Real Love, Black Heart Bart, Star Exhibit, Cedarberg, Awesome Rock, Ethiopia, Miss Andretti, Rogan Josh all did well in the east whilst under the care ifan eastern states trainer.

Agree PC the ones at the top are FREAKS !!! they could win anywere with any trainer
My point is how many times has Nev Parnham taken horses away for no result , Simon Miller is a classic case i can remember Darlington Abbey, Platinum Rocker, Whispering Brook ,First Amoungst Equals , he wanted to take Caiparina thats a joke the horse fell in in a very avg 1000m race last week and was beaten a long way out in the Roma Cup its just a Saturday horse

It's a little difficult for Cedarburg, Awesome Rock and Ethiopia to have done well under a Perth trainer considering they never ran in Perth! Think we can leave those three out of the equation.
  • PCPC    2,265 posts
Yes agree - Ethiopia, Cedarberg and Awesome Rock didnt race in WA, but they were genuine WA horses and bred in WA - just never ran here.
