    imho its way over the odds...I may even pick it in the comp...

    Sportsbet betting $5 Tom Melbourne to run 2nd or 3rd. He's $9 with Tabtouch to win the race...$9 to win and $5 for second and third..am on!

    That should just about make him a good thing to run 4th :-<

    I've backed him to win Slip, Don't think Bart gets the 1800. If Tom does get beat, I genuinely hope it is Bart.  And nothing else carrying that weight will get close going on the Railway.  Worried about the 3 yr olds though.

    Think the draw suits Tom better than the 1 he drew in the railway.

    @jum BHB won the Group 1 Underwood Stakes over 1800m before giving Winx a run for her money over 2000m next start. He ges the distance just fine.

    Agree trk..Bart replicates the railway run as mentioned(+ should get a better run in transit)he wins.Its Somewhat a danger and the 3yo can run 3rd or better if the class runners have some bad luck..

    I think under WFA, Black Heart Bart and It's Somewhat runs the quinella, with the 3 Waller horses and 3 light weights fighting out 3rd and 4th. I'll be taking a first four:

    1.​2/1.​2/4.​7.​8.​13.​14.​15/4.​7.​8.​13.​14.​15
    $60 gets you 100%

    Also a little EW on Money Maher. If he gets the same soft run as the Fairetha, he can figure in the finish. And the first four to match:

    1.​2.​14/1.​2.​14/1.​2.​14/4.​7.​8.​13.​15
    $30 for 100%

    Agree safety is paramount but good riders ride on the edge deserves his wack but he didn’t kill anyone

    Been out of town today.
    How did all those flash eastern states raiders that are so much better than our crap local horses go anyway ?
    Filled the trifecta I imagine...

    (Granted the winner did originate from east. Been here couple of years though).
