I've still got that Belgravia run stuck in my head and I'm convinced he will run out the 1800m.

I think the Guineas wasn't run to suit but he still stormed home after laying out.

I don't like the Pontiff jumping off but at current quote and a possible drift, he's definitely getting my hard earned each way.

jell, don't think PJH "jumped off" has not ridden at 52kg since about 1990...

At this rate Tuscan Queen will be starting under $2.

Is she as good as Arcadia Queen? Im not sure of that. Seemingly a stronger field last yield but could be very wrong about that

TQ is not in AQ post code as far as I’m concerned. I can have Kay Cee turning the tables, Kay Cee seems to have a wobble as she takes the corner and then takes a while to straighten up and hit full speed but I think her top speed is on par with TQ. From barrier one she should sit closer up to the speed and with horses on her outside hoping she tracks a bit better and then can’t see anything coming from behind her. Massive overs in my book.

@Precision1 she doesnt need to win by 4-5 len tho and the fact Disposition almost won this race from a wide barrier after getting gapped in the Guineas just underscores how much of an advantage the 3yos get. Disposition maxed out at 1600m, Tuscan Queen was pulling away from Kay Cee in the Thousand Guineas altho both appear untroubled at 1800m.

Was just answering bomber above about if she was as good. Agree the 3yo have a huge advantage though, I guess I saw the Champion fillies differently, don’t think TQ was pulling away at all, was 3L in front at the 200m and beat Kay Cee home by 3L. That’s why I said perhaps inside of horses she doesn’t float around from the bend to the 200m mark, I think she did it in the Guineas as well which cost her that race.

Kay Cee looked like a winning threat on the corner and was definitely closing in on the winner but 3L was as close as she got. Much like Bowman on Winx when Humidor lookwd like he had her  in the '17 CP, before the mare held the margin comfortably enough that Hugh celebrated before the line. Parnham was follwing TQ all the way and she didnt have the same gear as the winner. 3L is a fair margin and shes had the extra run, too. Pike on the fav, v Parnham an advantage too.

You're onto it Jell, kinda taking the pizz. I do struggle to keep up with some discussions that contain a bunch of horse names abbreviated so it is a bit of a cry for help too ;)

I'm not thinking any of the 3yos will place. Interesting stat - 17 3yo fillies have contested the race for 2 winners and 2 placegetters.

Joke of a stat and aimed at nothing more than muddying the waters. Two fillies have won the race in the last four years but hey, let's just stretch it back to 1976 to make it sound like it's been a while ;))

admittedly its not the strongest KT but you all seem to be ignoring the old war horses above the 2 fillies. personally I don't think either of them will win..i know its folly to say that against the P/P combo but that's my opinion.
everybody is forgetting gatting (huge chance), best of days, velvet king, regal power, missi delta and even the ruffie platoon.
do not think flirtini can win on the back-up either..but it is a very weak WFA...D-Day for uni time.

@thefalcon Best Of Days was the run of the race in the Railway...definitely not writing off its chances... MD, BOD, KC, AQ, Pacodali  box em up for the multiples imo throw in Platoon & Regal Power(to run 3rd/4th)if you wanna go wide.

Don't think the 3yr olds are as strong as people think. Keen on the same quinella as the Railway with Gatting to fill the minor hole and each way Plays the Game in the last.

Whilst know what you meant falc, and it is scratched anyway - but D-Day for Uni Time - he's won 6 races from 11 starts, including his last three, he's never missed a place in his career, a few more have reached D-Day before him.

But understand the better horses would've been running against today, even so, he's been a beauty.
