@Chris In the words of the late great Jarrod Lyle you far ken beauty!

Brady, I agree on River Beau will sit off a likely decent speed set by At War and Platinum Bullet and hopefully nail them late.

R2. Liked the run of Outlaw King last start just wonder if he is already wanting a mile, however if Donger can possie him up a bit closer he can still beat these on ability. The equal fav Rhythm Star was well beaten at her 1400m run finishing some 6L off Miss Margaux I think she may come up short here.

Sounds like punters state wide will be cheering for River Beau in the first, myself included. Liked a few others later in the day as well.

R1- RIVER BEAU split smart pair Cliffs Of Comfort and Tommy Blue last start and either of those two would be very short in this. From the draw sits just in behind the speed and should be suited saved up for one run on the six day turn around.

R8- VITAL BLAST comes out of stronger races than this and has put in good runs all prep. Drawn to do no work close to the speed and if he can roll through his gears under the 60kg should break through for a deserved Ascot victory.

R9- WAR SECRETS is yet another horse that has been transformed by the team at Cambana Lodge. Was flying at Kalgoorlie last prep and no reason he can’t bring that form to town on a Wednesday. Sits just of a solid speed and looks good value in an open race.

Track @ 4 metres Friday, then @ 6 metres Saturday. Might be worth keeping in mind when trying to determine a pattern for Saturday.

I'll be sticking with Ice Trade r9.Should be enough speed that Parnham can get cover then go whooshka in the straight.

Cambana Lodge? must be close to the stable or i'm tipping you know the younger Fernie well to be refering to them as that........

To me, Platinum Bullet looks above the others in the first.

Yeah, I'm with you Piker, the 6 wins. I'll be throwing the 4 in the mix also, like the way it responded when popped the question last start.

Has the knack of placing them well and a Friday event at Ascot might be the right go - Race 5 eachway, more the place on Jim Taylor trained # 2.Point Taken.

Roughie in race 8 - more in hope, last run ordinary on face value but did have a bit go wrong, it's only a fluker's hope, but gone small eachway tote on Friar Away.

Thought sky would have taken advantage of the situation spacing start times of kalg, and ascot races instead of 10 mins apart.

Kalg races 59 starters, 17 from fernie yard, need casper wineberg too work, who's going forward. from there normal pattern, also trying to anticipate which of  the parnhams horses, have improved, from not having to travel,or the goldfields sunshine has done the trick.

Platinum a big drifter in the heart starter but Simon Miller bullish on radio

I don't recall seeing it at 1.85 must have been the flucs say so..anyway imo 1.85 was WAY unders.I thought it may race on speed so if it and At War cut at each other their both vulnerable late(is a better chance if they take a sit)Interesting little race..

    Isnt SM always bullish?

Steve Parnham runner up on Forgotten War at the Gatting/Dandy Andy like odds of 125/1...use to follow former hoops John Claite and Mark Forder on some rough ones but S. Parnham is in another league!
