Tabtouch activity statement - may affect turnover!?

Given that most punters lose over time, the Tabtouch activity statement being emailed to all account holders, might make some punters a little more hesitant or nervous to bet like they are used to, once the reality is placed before them.
And, you can't "unsubscribe". Nonetheless, it is a reality check that may put more food on the table for some families.

Just saying.

@Markovina I agree with your sentiments overall, just not sure what it has to do with the statement being sent out? It's a duty of care by agencies for those who don't normally track what they are doing. Those that don't track their progress will be unpleasantly surprised as to how quickly those 50-100 deposits here or there build up. If you know how to win and that's the reason you bet that's fantastic, you've cracked the code. But reality is that 95% or more of punters are not like this.
I think statements are a good idea for the punter as it allows you to look at where your money is going and where it is and isn't working for you. It also keeps you in check with a dose of reality, let's be honest here.
Statements, deposit limits, self controlled markets etc I feel are better for the majority of casual players. The pros complain and that's fair enough to some degree, but the casual punter needs protections who ever they are, whatever their discipline.

They work for Tabcorp. Why would they get the sack for encouraging people to bet? That's what they're there for.

Some won't like this, but I don't think much of tipsters that seem to have no accountability, so I thought why not track some numbers to see if my hunch is right.
