  • Wow, how good Gatting?? ^:)^
  • Proved to be the case. Only jumped on terms with the field, then McEvoy didn’t really know what to do. Did far too much work. Will find out how she has pulled up and post.

  • L B Harper back in the winners circle on a Friday night too..
  • The Scottish Arania - Oro Travis filly was bought by Cass and Keith Haese and was the start of the "Alfa" dynasty. Oro Travis was a sister to former champ Bin Oro, top WA maternal family. She raced successfully as Travis Arania and was the dam of Sc…
  • Sounds like she ran her race before the start. Got stirred up in barriers and didn’t settle during the race. I’ve heard from one of the owners, she has pulled up ok. Corey just nursed her the last 100m or so, really looked after her. Off for a spell…

  • Very impressive win by Tarwin. Circled the field and gutsed it right out.

  • Have backed both Tarwin and Kylease today, also multied them up. Hoping step up in distance will suit both of them. Tarwin looks an exciting prospect for sure.

  • Barrier 3. Beautiful gate. I saw $3.20 about half an hour ago on Ozbet, now $2.65. I believe she opened around $3.60 On other sites now $2.50.

  • If, and that is a big, big if, a horse is to upset the mighty mare tomorrow, it will be Harlem..
  • She is a serious prospect. High cruising speed and absolutely walked in again.

  • Racing at Gosford today in a 3yo BM66. $1.70 fixed at TABTouch currently. Will be watching, not betting.

  • Looks like they are just working their way through the classes. Gosford race is 1,200m. I would think that if she goes well there, step up to 1,400m next.

  • Did Voak interfere with Tornado Rock? Horse gallops out of contention and he gets a reprimand. I agree - reading the Stewards Report he tightened Torpedo Rock, causing him to break and putting him out of the race altogether, and only gets a reprim…
  • Very open Cup today, I reckon Elegant Blast is worth a little EW investment.
  • Have just taken odds boost on Booker tomorrow in the Newmarket - got $31! Pretty damn good for the last start Oakleigh Plate winner. With a soft run just off the pace tomorrow, hoping for a repeat.
  • Yes, another very impressive win. The connections have a really nice filly on their hands.

  • Hmmm. Sugar Boom had ears pricked most of last 100m. The winner had her ears laid back, flat strap. I think the fave had more to give.....
  • She trialled again on Monday at Hawkesbury, ran 2nd to a decent type beaten half a length. The winner was Ball of Muscle.... very decent type. Keep a close eye on this filly...

  • He certainly is Falc, both on the flat and over the obstacles. It will be interesting to see if he gets a good number of rides for Maher & Eustace. He rides Guardini tomorrow for them, and the ex Weir horse Ringedingding for Chris Waller.
  • I reckon Yendall will pick up rides for stables such as Wilde, Williams, Maher etc based in the SW of the state. I see he is on Chauffer at Flemington for Hayes/Dabernig, a Weir horse he rode to a first up win. He was apprenticed to David Hayes at o…
  • Silentz had its bubble burst Haven’t seen the replay from Saturday but the horse was low flying at its previous runs Got too far back on Saturday and Yendall dropping the whip at the 300m didn’t help either. I wouldn’t jump off him just yet.
  • P Pruesker got 4 years a few years back for the use of such devices. Given the amount of publicity these charges have generated, and the efforts Racing Victoria are making to make the sport “clean”, Weir and his mates should get 10-15 years if foun…
