Carey - the thread was started for people to debate whether the protest should have been upheld or dismissed, rather than the standard "no way that should have been upheld" or "of course luckygray would have won" FACT: HE'S REMARKABLE came out on …

Difficult to see from the sky vision, Waratahs was SEVERELY checked and LUCKYGRAY slightly checked, whether it cost them the race i don't know. What i do know is it was worse than what Williams got rubbed out for prior to the Cup.

Exactly Damien. There is absolutely ZERO monetary advantage / incentive to the "promotion" they are running. Della will be here soon to pat the blokes from player on the back no doubt.
-
It is staggering (yet hardly surprising) that they thought they could just pay down to 4th place without adjusting the market  Now everyone has to cop the 420% even if you were quite happy to have your horse run in the top 3.
-
Yeah thats different to whats on the Player website. I just dont trust they wont pull some p1ss weak rule out after the event saying there was an error and all bets are void.
-
This will only work for the Winterbottom, the railway is 420%
-
Definitely - its on the player home page. Is there anyway to check the rules of the market? You could drain a few hundred out of them surely without it ringing any alarm bells due to the size of your bets...
-
Nope - it says have a fixed odds place bet.

Not as useful as a horses predicted finishing position (as determined by SP rank) compared to its actual finishing position...

Perhaps, or perhaps i'm just putting it in a logical way. Do you agree with the logic mailman, that a horses odds last start are a truer reflection of its chances of winning than its odds this start?
