    nup...happens every year at the change of tracks.. So there fore it's to be expected!!!

    in the 3 weeks leading up to the first meeting at Ascot there were 2 weeks there there were only 3 meets a week, then the first week at Ascot they go back to 4 and make some of them 9 race meets to boot!!!

    So having all races as 8 or more is a real bonus.. will be interesting to see how they have held up this time tomorrow!!!

    Luxbet still have Silver Magic Ships and Ancient Queen in their betting markets. This means that Shengmu is still paying $3.1 the win and $1.46 the place on fixed odds.

    In about the weakest race of day Oratism has excellent 2nd up form. Just my insight, make of it what you will, maybe a party hat or something. haha

    Race 8 is a real tough race with many possible winners, Jezpark has bar shoes on. I have been following Fiddlers but it just has not come on. Maybe High Limit, Elite Belle, Fiddlers, with Wild Charger and Tiger Pete doing their best at the end.

    I don't buy the argument about it being early in the season. Everyone has had months of notice and planning, but I think the programming is what is wrong. If, and I say a big if, that the problem is so well known, then why not cater accordingly ? Just to shrug the shoulders and say it always happens like this is a weak excuse. The early weeks of the Ascot season are black type racing days. A card of events should be better betting propositions than eight horse fields as an average at this time of the year.

    I don't think Oakhurst Flyer will be getting to the front too easily today. It's only an average sized field I know, but drawing barrier 8 of 9 is probably not ideal for a front runner and Mac It Is will probably try to dictate terms himself from barrier 4. If M.I.I makes his customary move mid race, then I think O.F will be better off trying to real him in gradually rather than getting into 2 horse war with him.

    i made a model for metro saturday only, but can't put 2 different sets up or it gets too confusing.

    well 2yo's with no form will make it useless and meaningless for that race.
    it will just tend to favour best riders or trainers i suppose, or maybe the faster trials, as there is nothing much else to go by.

    Spare a thought for the hoops. Trainers usually throw an apprentice on the top-weights therefore there is only 5 or 6 horses left in the race for the whole pool of jocks to chase rides on

    Not a fan of The Entourage over 1200, if it had been 1000, I would have included it in my exotics, it always seems to struggle beyond the 1000.
    Just had a peek, it has never won over 1200.
