So what are the extenuating circumstances for biting an opponent Andrew ? I have never heard of a defense that did little to mitigate responsibility.

According to the wankles - when it is a reactionary / reflex action.

Hey DS you genius, I tipped one team a good thing for the eight at the time and declared both them and the fact that I was on them. What more do you want.

Yeah one thing wrong out of the six or seven things I said when stating my opinion about the Dogs and the makeup of the 8, think I can live with that somehow, wouldn't want anyone to go back and revisit some of your silly predictions now would we DS, apart from the Dogs which was a good call.

When I arrived from Sydney 14 years ago, I wanted to support a local team as I have only a passing interest but a genuine dislike of West Coast. I probably should have supported Hawthorn in the 80's & 90's as I knew someone who played for them. But I thought I would support the underdogs being Sydney as I lived there.
  • youknowityouknowit    271 posts
So 14 years ago you developed a genuine dislike for the West Coast and in 2015 you found a love for the Dockers and even though you have NFI about the game and should have followed Hawthorn you keep making inane comments on here.

Also tipped Port as gawn, and Eagles as pretending. 2 out of 3, but dont see me hanging from the rafters shouting about it ...

Been a supporter of the Dockers since 2001.

Had a family friend who once played for another team. In fact he played for two, one in SA that we both supported since Primary School together, he played for them, then he went to Hawthorn when I was living in Sydney, where in the 80's, AFL got as much coverage of Golf in the press.

I had a genuine dislike for the West Coast for as long as I can remember.

Is that easy enough for understand ?

  • AndrewCarterAndrewCarter    2,171 posts
Pretty sure you had a few more wrong

Good call on B Shepperd based on one bad pre season game, jumping to conclusions much, he's been outstanding this year under enormous pressure.

Good calls on Butler and Hill as well not, Butler's been outstanding when he's been on the park and Hill has enjoyed one of his best seasons ever.

You did get one thing write though in what you said about Gov which I've been saying since I first saw him in the Carlton game at Etihad last year, never could understand after that debut when I was actually there, why he was dropped the following week, thankfully they quickly realised what a mistake that was.

Mind you your incorrect predictions were nothing compared to FM's who not surprisingly is quick to highlight the one thing I got wrong when I said I was confident Port are way too good to write off or words to that effect.
You could fill an encyclopedia with the massively off target predictions FM has made this season, I'm sure anyone who can be bothered to do so can easily go back and check the thread for themselves, me I've got better things to do than spend my half my day posting his poor judgment calls. :)

Occy pls. We let WCE smash us in the clearances deliberatly (Neale was fwd, Mundy back, Fyfe on wing for extended periods).

The most puzzling thing from WCE was the ball movement and decision making. How many times did they run emselves into trouble? Thought it was only Yeo who did that?

    B Sheppard ... my goodness he's bad.

On our side - the kicking for goal very disapointing. Game a failure for us IMO. MUST be fixed

Genuinlely bottom 6 for Eags, before M Brown injury.

My goodness the gov can play. Genuinely has talent to be best 5 big men in comp.

Heres where we see what Simpson is made of, should be a year where Tunbridge, Newman, Colledge, Barrass, McIness etc etc all get extended looks, and decide to keep or if they'll be list cloggers. Duggan just has to play next week.

There is absolutely no point playing people like Hill, Butler, Bennell and McGinnity now.

Tough sell of kids/losses to the corporate soul that is the WC heirarchy ...

    Hi Andrew

I tried to discuss the premiership contenders with you yesterday and in particular your complete disregard for Fremantle as a premiership chance. Unfortunately all I received in return was name calling and more rhetoric about how clever you are.
Above you are again proudly highlighting your genius and in other posts explain how you generously offer your opinions for others benefit... in that vein can I ask that you share with us all you current premiership market, so we can all look to take advantage of your skill in relation to football and punting?
If you are not going to oblige with a full market that is your prerogative but please don't reply with gibberish.

Hawks favourite, eagles clear second pick, Bulldogs and Freo on the third line, me I'm more than happy with my 11 bucks about the Eagles.
I've been saying for weeks what freo's problems are, older injury prone key players and their inability to kick winning scores and you were being smart to me mate.
When you're being genuine am more than happy to discuss / debate but when you want to be a smart arrse then don't expect me to be in a mood to discuss anything.

All good mate but as said above, please post a market not gibberish. That's not a market. Good luck to you but too hard to engage in serious discussion and opinion 'pre-event'....

how ironic that the few people that predicted correctly (Jordan, myself and rio) are all eagles supporters! go you good thing :-h

How ironic that you highly likely got it all wrong the previous 2 to 3 years with homer predictions

So he has the right to choose who he wants and when he wants, how many of your ilk jumped off a VFL team to support the WCE

I have always had a passing interest in the AFL. So if you have known me for many years, as I don't or can't remember who you are, you would know that I have been involved in several sports at different stages.

I have had a passing interest in Cycling having raced for several years, but I don't bang on that much about it. Played more Golf than I can remember, but almost never talk about it on here. Walked hundreds of courses in several places around the World, and only think about it if my Son wants to have a hit now. I still follow Tennis even though he has had to stop playing all levels of competition.

What I'm trying to say is, that just because you can't recall me talking about the AFL, I did grow up with it and a few mates that could play, and I find it a relaxing way to spend an afternoon on the weekend.

But if you want to talk about any of the above, I'm happy to talk about the folks I played with in those various sports, and I'm happy not to talk about them as well.

I have no desire to be regarded as an expert in any of my pastimes.

It's not worth worrying about Damien, I would be interested to know why you dislike the eagles though, what have they ever done to you :)
