If bookmakers around the place have any grunt and intestinal fortitude ...7/1 or 8/1 the field must go up!

More intriguing and better race than the Group One Epsom Handicap held recently in NSW.

Ridersonthestorm. As well as your tips for the race how about giving us a price market for the horses.

Haha. Ok buffy I'm up for a challenge. Will go old skool pricing.

    7/1 Scales Of Justice.
    8/1 Black Heart Bart.
    8/1 Supply And Demand.
    8/1 Tom Melbourne.
    10/1 It's Somewhat.
    12/1 Silverstream.
    14/1 All Our Roads.
    14/1 Sovereign Nation.
    14/1 Cosmic Storm.
    15/1 Ulmann.
    16/1 Variation.
    20/1 Gatting... :-S
    25/1 Material Man.
    25/1 Great Shot.
    25/1 Pounamu.

There's just fifteen of them...all other prices on request!

All in and no refunds on scratchings! Haha.

Luckygray could beat them all with just a midweek Lark Hill 950 trial. What price @Ridersonthestorm33 ?
  • Ridersonthestorm33Ridersonthestorm33    10,809 posts
Luckygray - always keep the grays safe in betting..but mostly on a heavy track.. why do they often win in the wet ?? Or just an urban legend ?

Recall listening on Racing Radio and a winning bet on Luckygray in his second Railway Stakes victory 5k @$21...nice.

And Detonator blouses the lot of them with 60kg plus with Lucky Gray riding him haha.

Just need to wait on final field and barrier draw for my terrible tips.

Providing they get the best 16 left...think ( am hard to please sometimes...being a traditionalist ) it's one of the all time great Railways...even just for the openness of it.

Gatting and Material Man around 20/1..Pounamu and Great Shot could get out to about 33/1- 40/1. They are my four rank outsiders. These are four way above average horses we are talking about.

Credit due where credits due - this is a very good Railway Stakes.

Do they still have a Breakfast with the Stars on Tuesday morning or even carnival horses on the grass ?

Life Less Ordinary one I left out ; 25/1. Another good horse way out in the betting. Good to see so many eastern staters here...that's what makes it a carnival.

Black Heart Bart into outright favourite with Sportsbet.

I know the limit is 53 and they have earnt their weights but Bart with 59, Its Somewhat 58.5(if he runs?), SOJ 57.5 it still wont be easy for these higher weighted ones.
Tom Melbourne not one of mine but is maybe well in with 55 following his beakthrough group 1 mile win.
I Still like Supply and Demand's chances and very happy Josh Parr is the pilot.Even luck and he should be super strong at the business end of the race.

Very disappointed not to be included in the Railway field Saturday with Tradesman. We have run 3rd in the Perth Cup and 3rd in the Northerly in our last 4 runs and have earned the points to be in the field!
